Hi, I broke the big toe while playing football around 15 years ago. I went through the standard recovery process, immobilizing the toe for several weeks, and then it was fully recovered. I could run, play football, walk long distances, and walk without shoes without a problem (beach, home), although I did all these things rarely. I'm not a runner, not a footballer, not a trekker. I'm rather sedentary but still very slim. Two years ago, in summer, I started to wear flipflops, hawayanian style, and to walk barefoot a lot (I spent 3 months in Fiji). Then, I started to feel pain again in the toe. I cannot remember if it the pain came all of the sudden or gradually. But I started to walk more carefully and involuntarily started to twist my foot inwards (to decrease the angle of extension of my big toe when walking...try this yourself). Well, from then on the problem continued but was under control. I avoided using flipflops, running and walking barefoot. Yet, the problem is more pronounced now. I can feel the relief when I let my foot to rest, like the bone is re-healing, or releasing accumulated tension. But this is a daily battle now. It's very annoying. Questions Is it normal that a broken bone remains weak forever? Will I never be 100% healed? Is this a chronic thing? Should I visit my GP? Please Help. Thanks, I didn't find the right solution from the internet. References: www.imaginis.com/cervical-cancerWeb Based Marketing Examples
